How do I see my ThinkOrSwim trading history?

As soon as you open your dashboard after you sign up, you'll be prompted to connect your Huskly account to your TD Ameritrade (we'll call it "TDA") account. That allows us to obtain a read-only access token to access data from their API on your behalf, for example your positions, account balance, transaction history, etc.

Note: Please note that your TDA credentials will never transit through our servers. They are sent directly to tdameritrade.com once you sign in through their website.

Once you finish authenticating, you'll be redirected back to Huskly, where you'll then be able to view your account dashboard.

Now, once you navigate to the Transactions page, you'll again be prompted to sync your history with TDA. By clicking the "Sync transactions" button, Huskly will contact the TDA API and will reconcile your trading history, effectively replaying all your orders and pairing buy/sell side transactions together. This allows us to reconstruct your trading history, which unlocks all the power of what Huskly can do.

Once your transactions have been synced, you can start analyzing your trades by selecting a date range to drill down into specific months or weeks that you'd like to analyze. You'll also get a nice bar chart displaying a visual representation of your P/L (profit & loss) per day.

Scroll down to see the list of all trades for that date range. Click on any one of them to see more details.

You're all set! From now on, Huskly will take care of syncing your transactions daily so you don't have to worry about refreshing yourself. You'll also receive an email once new trades have been imported so you can see new data as soon as it's available.
Time to start crunching that data!

We hope this guide gave you an overview of how to get your Huskly account up and running with TDA. Please let us know if you have any feedback via Twitter, Discord or email.
